Knut Larsson

Inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses and the musical Black Rider Knut Larsson has drawn a short story about a lonely hunter in the forest. One day he shoots a deer, but the deer doesn’t seem to be quite dead nor quite deer.
A story about the unity of nature and the metamorphoses of beings.



Knut Larsson was born in Stockholm 1972.
Studies in film and art. Book debut Canimus in 2001 followed by Lokmannen (Engine man) 2004 and Kolonialsjukhuset (Colonial Hospital) 2006.
After two years of teaching at the Kvarnby school of comic arts, Knut Larsson is living in Stockholm. His new book Krokopolis (The City of Crocodiles) was coming out in 2008
His work has also been seen in C´est Bon Anthology, Galago, Glömp, Strapazin and Stripburger.
